Saybrook Reading is actively seeking experienced, certified teachers to join our team at our Old Saybrook office!

Sayrbook Reading (private practice):

Applicants must have training in the Orton-Gillingham Approach through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (Classroom Educator, Associate, or Certified level) and hold a current Connecticut teaching certification.

OG Learning Lab Positions (Portland, CT)

OG instructor (1:1 instruction, AM/PM)
Math Teacher (AM/PM)
Academic writing (AM/PM)
Science and social studies instructor (PM program only)
Encore (specials): STEAM, arts, music, drama, photography, woodworking, outdoor skills, etc. (PM only)

Associate Level Training

Kim Nau, Fellow/OGA

Kim Nau is a dyslexia therapist who has an M.S. degree from Hofstra University. She is 1 of less than 200 active Fellows (worldwide) in the prestigious Orton-Gillingham Academy. She is also a certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist from the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI). Additionally, she is a board member of the Long Island branch of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA).
