Students in grades 1st–5th receive daily, individualized instruction in The Learning Lab's reading, writing, and math programs within a 1:1 student-to-faculty ratio in reading and 3:1 in math and writing.
Rooted in an Orton-Gillingham–based, systematic, multisensory approach, The Learning Lab's methodology strengthens foundational skills through direct instruction, high levels of engagement, and frequent review as students progress toward mastery.
Instruction is enhanced through hands-on manipulatives, positive peer collaboration, thoughtfully integrated technology, and flexible pacing. Throughout the year, students participate in events and activities designed to support social-emotional growth and the development of executive functioning skills.
