Middle Program 6th-8th

In The Learning Lab's middle program, students in grades 6th–8th attend daily classes in reading, writing, and math within a 3:1 student-to-faculty ratio.

Students receive explicit, individualized instruction that balances the reinforcement of foundational skills—such as decoding, spelling, and fluency—with targeted lessons designed to strengthen middle school–level skills across all three core academic areas, using Orton-Gillingham methodology.

Executive function skills are explicitly taught and embedded throughout the curriculum, supporting students in developing strategies for note-taking, test preparation, short- and long-term planning, and effective self-advocacy.
